Description

Bisacodyl 5mg tablets for short-term relief of occasional constipation.

Dulcolax 5mg gastro-resistant tablets provide fast-acting relief from occasional constipation in adults. Each pack contains 20 tablets, each with 5mg of bisacodyl, which stimulates bowel movements to restore regularity. The gastro-resistant coating allows the tablet to reach the colon intact. Swallow whole with water at night for a bowel movement the following morning.

How to use

Adults aged 18 and over: take 1 to 2 tablets at night with water. Swallow whole; do not chew or crush. Do not use for more than 5 days without medical advice.

Storage

Store below 25°C. Keep in the original container and outer carton.

Warnings

Do not use if you have bowel obstruction, acute abdominal pain, severe dehydration, or appendicitis. Do not take antacids or milk within 1 hour of this medicine. Do not use continuously for more than 5 days without investigating the cause. Overuse may harm intestinal function and cause electrolyte imbalance. Always read the leaflet. Not suitable for children or adolescents under 18 years. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
