Description

Loperamide 2mg capsules for short-term relief of acute diarrhoea.

The capsules reduce bowel movement frequency and help improve stool consistency. Supplied in a six-capsule general-sale pack.

How to use

For acute diarrhoea, take two capsules initially, then one after each loose stool. Do not take more than six capsules in 24 hours or use for longer than 48 hours without medical advice.

Active ingredients

Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg per capsule. Contains lactose.

No special storage conditions; keep in the original pack and out of reach of children.

Warnings

Do not use under 12 years, with blood in the stool and fever, during a flare of ulcerative colitis, or when constipation or abdominal swelling is present. Seek medical advice if symptoms do not improve within 48 hours.
