Description

Glycerol 4g Adult Suppositories are stimulant laxative suppositories for the occasional treatment of constipation in adults and the elderly.

Each 4g suppository contains 2.8g glycerol and is designed for rectal use.

How to use

Adults and the elderly: use 1 suppository rectally when required. Moisten the tip with a little cold water before insertion and insert tip first. Wash hands before and after use.

Active ingredients

Each 4g suppository contains 2800mg glycerol. Other ingredients: gelatin and purified water.

Suitable for

Adults and the elderly requiring occasional relief from constipation.

Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Warnings

For rectal use only. Not recommended for infants or children. Do not use if you have an intestinal obstruction or blockage or are allergic to any ingredient. Intended for occasional use only; prolonged or excessive use may cause diarrhoea. It may interfere with glucose control in people with diabetes. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
