Description

Putnams Deluxe Coccyx Cushion Armchair is a deeper armchair-size foam cushion with a rear coccyx cut-out designed to reduce direct pressure around the tailbone and base of the spine.

The profiled foam supports the surrounding seated area while the rear opening offloads the coccyx. Supplied with a removable washable cover.

How to use

Place the cushion flat on a stable armchair with the profiled surface facing upwards and the coccyx cut-out positioned at the rear. Sit centrally so the tailbone is aligned with the cut-out and the cushion is fully supported by the chair seat.

Size & fit

Dimensions: 49.5 × 48 × 10 cm.
Seat type: Larger armchair size for sofas, armchairs and wider seats.
Weight guidance: The 10 cm deluxe thickness is recommended by Putnams for users over 95 kg.
Recommended maximum weight: 115 kg for full pressure-relieving benefit.

Suitable for

Suitable for adults who spend extended periods seated and need pressure relief around the coccyx or tailbone area, particularly on a larger armchair seat.

Storage

Remove and wash the cover according to its care instructions. Keep the foam dry and store flat away from direct heat.

Warnings

Recommended maximum user weight for full pressure-relieving benefit is 115kg. This cushion does not replace clinical assessment for persistent coccyx pain or pressure-injury risk. Stop use if pain worsens or if the foam or cover becomes damaged.
