Description

Dioralyte Blackcurrant is an oral rehydration treatment for replacing fluid and electrolytes lost during acute diarrhoea.

Supplied as a pack of 6 blackcurrant-flavoured sachets.

How to use

Dissolve each sachet in exactly 200ml of water. Children: one sachet after each loose motion. Adults and the elderly: one or two sachets after each loose motion. Infants under 2 years should only be treated under medical supervision. If there is no improvement within 24–48 hours, seek medical advice.

Active ingredients

Per sachet: glucose 3.56g, sodium chloride 0.47g, potassium chloride 0.30g and disodium hydrogen citrate 0.53g.

Suitable for

Suitable for children under 12 and children aged 12 years and over.

Storage

Keep out of sight and reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place and do not use after the expiry date.

Warnings

Seek medical advice promptly for severe dehydration, blood in the stools, persistent vomiting, or diarrhoea that does not improve. Ask a healthcare professional before use if you have significant kidney or liver disease, diabetes, or have been advised to restrict sodium or potassium.
