Care Ibuprofen Gel 5% 50g

Adults, the elderly and children over 14 years: squeeze 5 to 10cm of gel onto the affected area and rub in gently until absorbed. Repeat no more often than every 4 hours, with a maximum of 4 applications in 24 hours. Wash hands after use. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Active ingredient: ibuprofen 5% w/w. Also contains hydroxyethylcellulose, sodium hydroxide, benzyl alcohol 1% w/w, isopropyl alcohol and purified water.

Adults, the elderly and children over 14 years with backache, muscular or rheumatic pain, sprains, strains or sports injuries.

Store below 25°C and replace the cap tightly after use. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any ingredient, or if aspirin or other NSAIDs have previously caused asthma, rhinitis, swelling or hives. Do not apply to broken, infected or inflamed skin, the eyes or mucous membranes, and do not cover with an airtight dressing. If you have kidney problems, an active peptic ulcer, asthma or a history of intolerance to aspirin or ibuprofen, ask a doctor or pharmacist before use. Avoid excessive sunlight on treated skin. Do not use in the last 3 months of pregnancy; during earlier pregnancy or while breastfeeding, seek medical advice before use. Under 14s should use only on a doctor's advice. Stop use if a rash develops. FIRE HAZARD: keep away from naked flames and do not smoke. Clothing, bedding and dressings that have been in contact with this product can burn more easily. Seek advice if symptoms persist beyond 2 weeks.
