Description

Treathay contains fexofenadine hydrochloride, a non-sedating H1 antihistamine used to relieve symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, including hay fever.

Each film-coated tablet contains 120mg fexofenadine hydrochloride and is for adults and children aged 12 years and over.

How to use

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: take 1 tablet once daily before a meal. Swallow with water. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Active ingredients

Each film-coated tablet contains 120mg fexofenadine hydrochloride, equivalent to 112mg fexofenadine. Excipients include microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium and povidone. The film coating contains hypromellose, macrogol, titanium dioxide (E171) and iron oxides (E172).

Suitable for

Adults and children aged 12 years and over with symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis.

Storage

Keep in the original packaging and out of the sight and reach of children. No special temperature storage conditions are required.

Warnings

Do not use in children under 12 years or if you are allergic to fexofenadine or any ingredient. If you are elderly, have kidney or liver problems, or have current or previous cardiovascular disease, use only on the advice of a doctor. Leave at least 2 hours between Treathay and antacids containing aluminium or magnesium hydroxide. Do not use during pregnancy unless advised by a doctor. Breastfeeding women should use it only if advised by a doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet.
