Description

A compact push-down tablet cutter with internal guides to hold a suitable tablet in position while it is divided.

The enclosed design avoids the need to use an open household knife and keeps the cutting blade inside the hinged case during normal use.

How to use

Place the cutter on a firm, level surface. Position the tablet between the guides, keep fingers clear of the blade and close the lid steadily. Remove the divided pieces carefully and clean away any residue after use.

Suitable for

Suitable for adults who have difficulty swallowing whole tablets or handling them, including people with reduced hand dexterity, but only for medicines confirmed as safe to split.

Storage

Store closed, clean and dry with the blade inaccessible to children. Remove tablet residue after each use.

Only divide a tablet when its leaflet, prescriber or pharmacist confirms that it may be split. Do not split modified-release, enteric-coated or otherwise unsuitable tablets. The blade is sharp. Keep out of reach of children.
