Olbas Oil Inhalant Decongestant

For inhalation from a tissue: children aged 3 months to 2 years, use 1 drop on a tissue kept close to but not touching the child; adults and older children should follow the leaflet dose. With hot water: adults and children aged 12+ may use 2–3 drops; children aged 2+ may inhale vapours only with close supervision and the hot water kept safely out of reach. As a rub for muscular pain: adults and children aged 12+ may massage onto the painful area up to 3 times daily. Always follow the leaflet for the age-specific method.

Cajuput oil 18.5% w/w; eucalyptus oil 35.45% w/w; methyl salicylate 3.7% w/w; clove oil 0.1% w/w; juniperberry oil 2.7% w/w; levomenthol 4.1% w/w; partly dementholised mint oil 35.45% w/w.

For inhalation, suitable from 3 months when used by the age-specific method in the leaflet. Hot-water inhalation is for children aged 2 years and over with close supervision. External use as a rub for muscular pain is for adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Do not use in babies under 3 months. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin. Keep hot water safely away from children and supervise young children closely. Do not apply directly to the skin or clothing of children under 2 years. For muscular pain, do not use as a rub in children under 12 years.
