Description

Lemsip Mucus Cough Liquid is an oral medicine for symptomatic relief of chesty coughs and catarrh associated with colds, flu and mild throat infections.

Supplied in a 180ml bottle with a dosing cup.

How to use

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: 5-10ml every 4-6 hours, maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Shake well before use. Rinse the measure cup after each dose.

Active ingredients

Guaifenesin 100mg and cetylpyridinium chloride 2.5mg per 5ml.

Storage

Store below 25°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

Warnings

Do not use if allergic to guaifenesin or cetylpyridinium chloride. Consult a doctor if you have chronic cough, asthma, or acute asthma attack. Stop use and seek advice if cough lasts over 5 days, returns, or is accompanied by fever, rash or headache. Do not take with cough suppressants. Always read the leaflet. Not suitable for children under 12 years. Contains sorbitol; avoid if you have hereditary fructose intolerance.
